Booking Terms for a Yacht Charter with Horizon Cruises Phuket
These are the terms for every charter booked through this site. They are short on purpose. Where a partner boat sets a different condition, it is written on that boat's page and it applies.
How do you pay?
A 50 % deposit confirms the booking. The balance is paid on the day of the charter. We accept Visa, Mastercard and UnionPay, bank transfer to the company account, USDT and other cryptocurrency; in Thai baht, US dollars and Russian roubles. An online payment link is sent with the confirmation.
What if you cancel?
Cancellation 30 days or more before the charter: the deposit is refunded in full. 29 days or less: the deposit is not refunded. Moving the date, where the boat is free on the new one, is not a cancellation.
What happens with the weather?
We are always on the guest's side, and we do everything to make the day happen and be remembered. Three cases:
- The Thai Marine Department prohibits departure — a storm warning, a port closure. You choose between a full refund and a move to the nearest free date. That is the case on the great majority of such days.
- Departure is permitted, but the route you booked is not workable — wind on the wrong side of the island, swell at the anchorage. The route is always the captain's final call. He offers an alternative route for the same day; there is no refund for a change of route.
- It simply rains. The yacht sails. Where the calendar allows, and especially on our own yachts, we are glad to move the date instead — ask.
Is the hotel transfer included?
On full-day charters, yes, on every boat: round trip from your hotel to the pier and back. On half-day charters it depends on the boat and is stated on the boat's page.
Can you see the yacht before you book?
Yes — any yacht in the catalogue, including partner boats, in person, free of charge, before you pay a deposit. Tell us which boats you are choosing between and we arrange a time at the marina.
What are the charter hours?
Day charters run between 09:00 and 19:00. The yacht returns at the agreed hour; a late start shortens the trip rather than extending it. Extra hours, where the boat's programme allows them, are priced on the boat's page.
What is not in the price?
National park fees where the route enters a park, paid per person on the day; crew gratuities, at your discretion; optional extras and relocation fees; lunch on short charters where the boat's page says so. What is included, in detail.
