What makes a yacht charter in Phuket luxury rather than just large
Size is not the criterion. Anything from 92 feet upward is a superyacht with a separate page, superyacht charter in Phuket. Luxury on this site means eleven motor yachts and two catamarans under that line where the finish, the crew and the cabins are of a standard the length alone would not predict. The money goes into the interior and the service rather than into deck areas. If your priority is space for a large group, a plainer motor yacht or a power catamaran serves you at a fraction of these rates, and we will say so.
Say Yes against the pricier partner yachts
Our three yachts are in this class. Technema 89 Say Yes and Ferretti 80 Sofia embark at Chalong Pier, Beluga 88 at Ao Po, and each sails with a captain, a hostess, two deckhands and a charter manager; on a full day the lunch of Thai dishes can be swapped for a private chef onboard. Say Yes, at the lowest starting rate in the class, has three decks and takes the most guests by day of the three. Princess 78 Maritimus at ฿240,000 and Princess S72 KATI S at ฿235,000 take up to twenty and fifteen guests, eight and ten of them in the rate: what the higher rate buys is a newer hull, KATI S was built in 2025, a gyro stabiliser on both, and on Maritimus a jet ski and a marina buggy, not more room.
What is included in a private yacht charter, and which amenities depend on the yacht
On every day charter the whole yacht, a professional captain and crew, passenger insurance, water and soft drinks, masks and snorkels and towels are in the rate, and so is fuel for the agreed route except where a yacht's page lists a fuel fee. The hotel transfer and the rest depend on the yacht, and each yacht's page says which:
- Charter manager aboard: Say Yes, Sofia and Beluga.
- Private chef: part of the crew of eleven on Pisces 85; on request instead of the lunch on Say Yes, Sofia and Beluga, and included with all meals on their overnight charters.
- Gyro stabiliser: W.J.Lip, Maritimus, Princess S65 KATI and KATI S. On a hull of this length it keeps the lunch table level and the swim platform steady at anchor, which matters for anyone in your group who is uneasy on the water.
- Water toys: a water slide on Say Yes, Sofia and Beluga; a jet ski included on W.J.Lip and a jet surf on Pisces; elsewhere a jet ski is an extra, charged per session.
- If you want us to cater a dinner beyond the standard lunch, or alcohol, it is arranged through us and priced by the yacht.
The ten partner yachts
Moon Glider cruises at twenty-five knots, the fastest yacht in this class. Maha Bhetra is Thai-built with interiors by the architect behind the Aman resorts. KATI has a shallow draft and an advanced stabilisation system; W.J.Lip and Maritimus are separate yachts, each with a marina buggy. Pisces is a 26-metre power catamaran built in 2026 for the largest groups in the class, chartered by the day. Sunreef E-MOTION is the outlier: a hybrid-electric sailing catamaran chartered by the week or from three days.

Day trips or several nights: cabins, Krabi and Phang Nga Bay
For a day on the water with twenty to thirty guests, Say Yes takes the most people of any yacht in this class, with Sofia, Beluga and Olympia 76 next. Day charters from Chalong Pier go to the Phi Phi Islands, Racha and Coral Island; from Ao Po a cruise into Phang Nga Bay reaches the limestone karsts around James Bond Island and the lagoon at Koh Hong, with snorkelling at the reefs from a mooring buoy, never an anchor on coral. For two or three nights of island hopping the cabin count decides: four en-suite cabins sleeping eight on the three Princesses of the same length, and four cabins with five bathrooms on Beluga. A couple who want the yacht to themselves are best served by the S-line pair, sized for six to eight rather than a crowd. Overnight routes run to Koh Yao Yai and the Krabi side; for time under sail with eight guests, Sunreef E-MOTION runs a standard eight-day itinerary. What moves the charter rates
The published figure is the lowest rate on each yacht's page: the shortest format in the cheapest season that yacht publishes. Season is the largest factor: the 2026/27 high season runs November to April, and the peak weeks add again; the peak dates are shown on each yacht's page. Route matters because fuel does: the rate for a distant island differs from a day in the bay. Prices are per boat, not per guest: the rate covers the group up to the headcount shown on each yacht's page, and where a base rate covers a set number there is a charge per extra guest; on Say Yes the published rate covers twelve, with ฿2,000 for each guest above that up to the full headcount. On many of these yachts the national park fees are in the rate, and the yacht's page says so; on the others they are paid per person on the day at the Phi Phi park and in Ao Phang Nga, with children at a reduced rate; we confirm the current figures with your quote. Sunreef E-MOTION is quoted per week or per short charter of three days and more.

Can we charter for several days, and how much is a week?
Every yacht here except Pisces, which is chartered by the day, has cabins and is set up for overnight. Weekly charters are quoted individually and are not the day rate multiplied by seven: overnight anchorages, provisioning and passage fuel change the calculation.
