Corporate Yacht Charter in Phuket

A corporate day at sea in Phuket is a private, crewed yacht for your group and nobody else: one boat, your programme, your hour of departure. Horizon Cruises Phuket has operated here for twelve years and runs three yachts of its own — Technema 89 Say Yes, Beluga 88 and Ferretti 80 Sofia — plus a catalogue of around 80 boats for groups the three cannot fit. Prices are per boat per day, final, in Thai baht.

Which format suits your event?

Four formats cover most corporate briefs. They differ in hours, in boat and in how much of the day is at anchor.

A team day on the water

A full day, eight to nine hours, to one or two islands: swimming, snorkelling, lunch aboard, the toys out. It works because there is nowhere to go — the group is together in a way an office day cannot manage. Best on a motor yacht with deck space and shade; the largest of ours takes 30 guests for the day.

A sunset dinner

Two hours in the early evening, in the bays close to the departure marina, dinner served aboard. Not offered in peak season, 20 December to mid-January. Short enough to attach to a conference day, long enough to count as the evening. Suits 10 to 25 guests on one yacht.

A meeting or presentation aboard

A half or full day where the boat is the venue: a saloon with air conditioning for the working part, decks for the rest. Larger yachts have a saloon that seats a working group at a table; the boat's page shows the layout. Wi-Fi is listed where it exists and is not guaranteed at sea.

Incentive and multi-boat groups

For groups above what one yacht is licensed to carry, we run two or three boats in convoy — same route, same anchorages, one programme. Our three own yachts together take 77 day guests; the catalogue's largest motor yachts take up to 50 each. Above that, ask: it is a question of how many boats, not whether.

How many guests can a yacht take?

Capacity is a licensed figure per boat, not a preference, and it is printed on every boat's page. Our own three:

What does a corporate charter cost?

The same day rates as any charter — there is no corporate premium. From the boats above, high-season full days start at ฿140,000 on Technema 89 Say Yes, ฿110,000 on Ferretti 80 Sofia and ฿267,500 on Beluga 88; low season is lower and peak season from 20 December is higher. Every boat's page carries a full table by route and season. Catering beyond the standard lunch, a private chef, decoration and paid water toys are quoted separately and in advance.

For an organiser the useful number is per head: a 30-guest day on Technema at ฿140,000 is under ฿4,700 a person for the boat, crew, fuel, lunch and transfer. All prices by format and season.

What is included?

On every charter: captain and crew, fuel for the agreed route, passenger insurance, water and soft drinks, snorkelling gear, towels, round-trip hotel transfer on full days, and a final price with nothing added afterwards. On our own yachts, a Russian-speaking manager is aboard. Lunch, drinks, toys and Wi-Fi vary by boat and are listed on its page — what's included, in detail. National park fees, where the route enters a park, and crew gratuities are always separate.

How does the day run?

• 07:30 — transfer collects the group from the hotel.
• 08:00 — boarding, safety briefing, the captain confirms the route against the morning's forecast.
• 08:30 — departure. The long leg first, so the group reaches the first anchorage before the tour boats do.
• 10:00–12:30 — first stop: swimming, snorkelling, toys.
• 12:30 — lunch aboard at anchor.
• 14:00 — second stop, chosen on the day for shelter and quiet.
• 16:00 — the run back, drinks on deck.
• 17:00 — alongside; transfer back to the hotel.

The times move with the group and the boat. What does not move is the early start — it is the difference between a bay to yourselves and a bay shared with fifty other people.

For the organiser

• One contact from the first message to the pier, in English or Russian.
• A written quote with one final figure in Thai baht and an explicit list of what is not in it.
• A contract for the booking; a company invoice on request, VAT at 7 % applies to company invoices.
• Invoicing in THB, USD or EUR.
• Free viewing of any yacht before you commit — bring the person who signs.
• Payment: 50 % on booking, the balance on the day of the charter. Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, bank transfer, USDT and other crypto; THB, USD, RUB; an online payment link on request.
• Weather: the route is always the captain's final call. If the Thai Marine Department closes the port, a full refund or a new date at your choice. If sailing is permitted but the ordered route is not workable, the captain offers an alternative — there is no refund for a change of route. Full terms.

What should the organiser prepare?

Five things, and the quote follows within the hour, at any hour of the day:

1. The date, and whether it can move by a day. Flexibility widens the choice of boats considerably in high season.
2. The number of guests — the licensed figure decides the shortlist before anything else does.
3. The format from the four above, or a mix: a working morning and an island afternoon is common.
4. Dietary requirements for lunch — vegetarian, halal, allergies — arranged in advance, not on the morning.
5. Branding and set-up needs — a banner, a screen, a projector. Tell us what you bring and we say what fits where.

How does a two-yacht convoy work?

Same departure marina, same hour, same route and anchorages. Each yacht has its own captain and crew; one charter manager coordinates both and keeps the two boats within sight so the group can move between them by tender at anchor. Lunch is served on both at the same time. The price is two day rates, not a group rate, and the split of guests between the boats is by licensed capacity. It is the standard way to take 40 to 60 people to sea on Phuket without a shared tour boat.

Which yacht should a corporate group take?

For up to 30, Technema 89 Say Yes: the largest day capacity of our own three, a saloon, the widest toy list, Chalong departure for the southern islands. For 20 to 25 with Phang Nga Bay in mind, Beluga 88 from Ao Po — it is the closer marina for the limestone bay and the islands on the Krabi side. For a faster, sportier day up to 25, Ferretti 80 Sofia. For 40, a sailing catamaran; for 50, the largest motor yachts in the catalogue.
