How Much Does a Yacht Charter in Phuket Cost?
Yacht rental in Phuket starts at ฿21,000 a day for a small speedboat and runs to ฿214,000 and above for a crewed luxury yacht. Most guests rent somewhere in the middle: a full day on a motor yacht or catamaran for a group of 10–20 costs roughly ฿40,000–฿70,000. All prices on this site are final guest prices per rental day in Thai baht. Below is what a charter actually costs, format by format and season by season.
How much does it cost to rent a yacht in Phuket?
The short answer: from ฿21,000 for a day on a speedboat, from ฿33,900 on a motor yacht, and from ฿214,000 at the top of the fleet. The rate is for the whole boat, not per person — a group splits one figure. What moves it is season, length of day and how far you go.

Rates are per boat, not per person, so a group splits one price. Here is one mid-range boat — the Grand Banks 53 Sambuca, up to 20 day guests — across every format it offers:

Why the season matters more than anything else
The same boat on the same route can differ by a quarter between May and January. Three periods are used across the fleet:
- Low season, May to October. The cheapest rates and the most availability. The Andaman is less settled, so routes are chosen around the wind on the day.
- High season, November to April. Calm water, the most popular months, and the rates most guests actually pay.
- Peak, from 20 December. It ends between 10 and 20 January depending on the boat — the exact dates are in each boat's own table. The highest rates of the year, and the dates that go first. Some boats do not offer short charters at all during these weeks.
What the price includes
Inclusions differ boat by boat and the exact list is on each yacht's page. Across the fleet the published day rate typically covers full use of the boat, the captain and crew, fuel for the agreed route, soft drinks and ice, snorkelling gear, and lunch on full-day charters.
What is not included
These are the costs that surprise people, so they are worth checking before you book. Exact amounts are on each boat's page — the figures below are real examples from the fleet, not universal rates.
- National park fees. Where the route enters a park. On Technema 89, ฿400 per person per day for Phi Phi, Krabi and Phang Nga.
- Guests above the included headcount. On Technema 89 the published rate covers 12 guests; each additional guest is ฿2,000, up to 30.
- Changing the departure pier. On Siam Princess 70, ฿10,000 for Chalong and ฿10,000 for Krabi.
- Extra hours and water toys. On Technema 89, ฿15,000 per additional hour and ฿9,000 a day for the underwater scooter.
- Lunch on short charters — usually not included on half-day trips.
What actually moves the price
- Season — the single biggest factor, up to about 25% between low and peak.
- Length of the day — a 3-hour sunset run is roughly two-thirds of a full day on the same boat.
- Distance. Phi Phi and Phang Nga cost more than Coral Island because of fuel and hours, not because the boat is different.
- Guest count — mostly through which boats can take you at all, and through per-head charges above the included number.
- Boat, not brand. Two 50-foot boats can differ by half depending on age, refit and crew size.

Booking and payment
- A 50% deposit confirms the booking.
- The balance is paid on the day of the charter.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before the charter: full refund of the deposit.
- Cancellation 29 days or less: the deposit is not refunded.
- Cash, bank transfer to the company account, or credit and debit cards. Thai baht, US dollars and Russian roubles are all accepted.
