About this boat
Gin 37 is a 37 ft power catamaran for up to 6 guests with a crew of three, offered by Horizon Cruises Phuket for day charters from Ao Makham on the south-east coast of Phuket. There are no cabins: one air-conditioned saloon with sofas along both sides and the helm forward, an open aft cockpit with seats around a table, a bow sunpad and one bathroom. She cruises at 24 knots, so a five-hour half day reaches Coral Island with Promthep Cape, or Maiton.
A full day of up to nine hours goes further: the nearby islands, Racha Yai with Racha Noi, Phi Phi with Maiton, with Khai Nok or with Bamboo Island, or Phang Nga Bay with Koh Panyi. A paddle board, a pool float and fishing rods are included, with masks, towels, drinks and fruit; in national park waters the toys stay on board. Boarding at Chalong Pier can be arranged for a surcharge. Half the price is paid at booking and the rest on the day; cancel more than 30 days ahead and the deposit comes back in full. This is the boat for a couple or a family of six who want a stable catamaran deck, a cool saloon and a short, fast island day in the 2026/27 season.

Important information
- Day charters only: a half day of 5 hours or a full day of up to 9 hours
- Please arrive at the pier 30 minutes before departure
- Your own food and drinks are welcome on board at no extra charge; pork is not allowed
- Water toys and fishing rods are not used in national park waters: Phi Phi, Bamboo Island, the Khai Islands and Phang Nga Bay
- At Maiton the boat stops offshore for swimming and snorkelling; landing on the island is not permitted

- Full payment is due at booking.
- Cancellation more than 30 days before departure: full refund.
- Bookings for 20 December – 10 January and 12–16 April are non-refundable.
- Cancellation 30 days or less before departure: no refund.

What happens if the weather is bad?
- If the boat can operate in general rain, the charter goes ahead and is not refunded.
- If the Thai Meteorological Department officially bans boat operations, you get a full refund.
