About this boat
Prada launched in 2025 and is the newest boat in the Ao Po fleet, which for a charter catamaran is worth more than it sounds: the upholstery is unmarked, the engines are barely run in, and nothing aboard has yet been repaired twice. She is a fifty-foot power catamaran for twenty guests on day charters, with one cabin and one bathroom below — the accommodation is there for changing and shelter, not for sleeping. What a catamaran gives a group this size is a flat, wide deck that does not lean or roll at anchor. Children can walk about, a table can be laid properly, and nobody spends the afternoon bracing against a heel.
Two folding wing doors open the saloon out to the sides, so the covered area becomes an open one when the group wants it. Seventeen knots is a comfortable cruising speed for the sheltered water this marina serves: the bay at Phang Nga, the rock the Bond film made famous, the lagoon at Koh Hong and the channel by Koh Yao are all within an easy day. The water slide is the feature families book her for, along with a jet ski, paddleboards, a SUBLUE Navbow underwater scooter and snorkelling gear. Forty-five thousand baht a day for the whole boat.
Not the choice for an overnight trip, for the far southern islands, or for guests who want a private cabin each — a monohull with real staterooms serves that better.
