About this boat
Zambezia is the largest of the Leopard power catamarans working out of Boat Lagoon Marina, and the differences between them come down to capacity: she takes thirty guests by day and eight overnight in four air-conditioned cabins, each with its own bathroom. That last detail is the one worth pausing on. Four cabins with four en-suites on a fifty-three-foot boat is a layout you normally find on much longer monohulls, and it is possible here because a catamaran puts two cabins in each hull instead of stacking them along one. For an overnight charter with two couples and children, or four adults who do not want to share, it is the practical difference.
The living areas run across two decks — a saloon and cockpit at deck level, a flybridge above — so a group of thirty is never concentrated in one place. From Boat Lagoon the natural days are Phang Nga Bay and James Bond Island, Koh Hong, the Koh Yao islands and Phi Phi. The toy locker holds a floating mat, an inflatable pool, a kayak, paddleboards, snorkelling and fishing gear. From sixty-nine thousand five hundred baht for a day.
Who she is not for: guests who want speed between islands, and small groups paying for capacity they will not use — a smaller Leopard on the same pontoon costs less and behaves the same way. There is also a difference in how a catamaran behaves at the anchorage that matters for a group this size: with the hulls set wide apart she barely moves when thirty people shift to one side of the deck, which a monohull of the same length would answer with a noticeable lean. Guests who get seasick and families with toddlers notice it within the first stop.

How do you book and cancel?
- An advance of ฿20,000 confirms the booking; during the peak season (15 Dec – 15 Jan) the deposit is 50%.
- The balance is paid on boarding.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before the charter: 100% refund of the deposit.
- Cancellation 29 days or less before the charter: the deposit is not refunded.
- Weather: if the boat cannot go out, the operator offers a replacement vessel, a new date or a full refund less the cost of provisions.
Payment
- Cash, bank transfer to the company account, or credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay) or USDT.
- Accepted currencies: Thai baht, US dollars and Russian roubles.
What are the charter hours?
- Charter times are between 09:00 and 19:00.
- Please be on time — the yacht returns at the agreed hour, and a late start shortens the trip rather than extending it.
- Programmes and timing depend on weather and sea conditions. If the weather makes the planned route unworkable, we agree what to do with you individually — there is no single fixed rule, and the options depend on the boat, the date and how far the plan has to change.
- If you ask to change the departure point, the relocation is agreed separately — the boat is berthed where it is berthed, and moving it costs time and fuel.
