About this boat
After 8 sits in the part of the fleet that is hardest to choose from: mid-size motor yachts around fifty to sixty feet, all with three cabins, all costing roughly the same. What separates this one is the combination of a genuine flybridge with shaded seating and a cruising speed of fifteen knots that stretches to twenty-six — enough shade for a long lunch, enough pace to reach Phi Phi or the Racha islands from Ao Po Grand Marina and still be back at a civilised hour. Built in 2007 and refitted in 2023, she takes twelve guests by day and six overnight in three cabins with two bathrooms, with a crew of four.
The interior is bright and fully air-conditioned; outside there are shaded lounging areas both aft and above, which on a Phuket afternoon matters more than any feature list. Her published itineraries cover Khai and Naka, Phang Nga Bay, Maiton, Koh Hong Krabi, Racha and Phi Phi, and the day rate from seventy-nine thousand baht includes crew, meals to suit the charter length, refreshments, water toys, the marina transfer, fuel and tax. That inclusive pricing is worth checking against other quotes, because on some boats several of those lines are extras.
She is a good fit for two families, or friends who want an overnight without moving up to a much larger yacht. Less suited to a party: twelve is the day limit, and the deck is arranged for sitting rather than standing.
