About this boat
Moon Glider is the fast one. Most yachts of 90 feet cruise somewhere in the low teens; this Leopard cruises at 25 knots and will do 40 when the captain opens her up. In practice that means the day is spent at the islands rather than getting to them — from Royal Phuket Marina she is at Phi Phi in about an hour and a half and a half, the time a displacement yacht takes to clear the bay, and on a single charter she can do Phang Nga in the morning and Racha in the afternoon, which almost nothing else on this coast manages. She was built in 2003 as a sport yacht — low, long, the Italian open style with a hardtop rather than a flybridge — and refitted in 2021.
Below, two king cabins and a twin sleep 6 guests overnight; by day she carries up to 18. The layout is what you would expect from a sport yacht: one huge aft deck that becomes the centre of the day, a saloon that opens onto it, sunpads forward. What she is for: a group that wants speed and a certain look — the boat that draws the eye at the anchorage — and is happy to trade the shaded flybridge of a classic motor yacht for the open cockpit of a fast one. The jet ski and kayak come off the stern at each stop; paddleboards and snorkelling gear are aboard too.
What she is not for: guests who want to sit in the shade all day, or a leisurely multi-day cruise — she is happiest going somewhere. From 190,000 baht for a day charter. One practical consequence of the sport-yacht layout: there is no upper helm, so the captain works from the saloon and the whole top of the boat stays open sunbathing space rather than a driving station. Guests who have chartered flybridge yachts before notice the difference immediately, in both directions.

How do you book and cancel?

- Cancellation 30 days or more before the charter: 100% refund of the deposit.

What are the charter hours?
- Charter times are between 09:00 and 19:00.
- Please be on time — the yacht returns at the agreed hour, and a late start shortens the trip rather than extending it.
- Programmes and timing depend on weather and sea conditions. If the weather makes the planned route unworkable, we agree what to do with you individually — there is no single fixed rule, and the options depend on the boat, the date and how far the plan has to change.
- If you ask to change the departure point, the relocation is agreed separately — the boat is berthed where it is berthed, and moving it costs time and fuel.
