About this boat
The Lagoon 42 is a sailing catamaran 42 feet (12.8 m) long that leaves from Chalong Pier on the south coast of Phuket. By day she takes up to 15 guests, and the rate covers the whole boat for ten. All three cabins, one of them large, and all three bathrooms are for guests; the boat is refitted every year, most recently in 2026.
A full day runs from 10:00 to 18:00 to Racha Yai, or to Maiton and Coral Island; a full day to Racha Yai and Racha Noi, with Coral Island if you wish, is ฿14,200 extra. Half days run from 10:00 to 14:00, or from 15:00 to 19:00 with the sunset at Promthep Cape; the morning route is agreed when booking. In the low season a half day is from ฿40,900 and a full day from ฿56,900.
The crew of three, a skipper, a deckhand and a hostess, look after the boat and serve a Thai buffet lunch, fresh fruit, snacks, soft drinks and water. For the water there are a kayak, a paddle board, a floating pool, snorkelling and fishing gear and a dinghy. Fuel, insurance and VAT are included; each guest above ten is ฿2,200. Overnight trips for up to six guests, from 10:00 to 17:00 the next day, are priced on request, with air conditioning at no extra charge.

- A 50% deposit confirms the booking.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- The balance is paid on board on the day of the charter.

What happens if the weather is bad?
- If the sea is closed because of a storm, you get a full refund or a new date.
- Rain alone is not a reason for a refund, but the charter can be moved to another date.
- If the planned route is unsafe, the captain offers another one.
