About this boat
Start with the cabins, because that is what the Princess 78 is for. Two king-size staterooms and two twin cabins, each with its own bathroom — 4 in total — mean 8 people can spend two or three nights aboard without anyone sharing a shower. That is the difference between this yacht and the smaller boats berthed a few pontoons away at Ao Po Grand Marina: those are day boats that can sleep a few people, this is an overnight yacht that also does day charters. She was designed as a floating apartment first and a day platform second, and it shows in how the accommodation deck is laid out — a full-beam owner's stateroom amidships where the motion is least, the twins forward for children or crew.
Built in 2011 and brought up to date in 2023, she is 78 feet of flybridge motor yacht, air-conditioned throughout, for up to 15 guests by day. Her cruising speed is 15 knots with 30 in reserve — unhurried, which suits a multi-day itinerary better than a fast one: from the east coast marinas she works Phang Nga Bay and the Hong islands on the first day, then continues to the Krabi side or on to Phi Phi with a night at anchor in between. On a single day she does the bay and James Bond Island without the run feeling long. Guests who choose her are usually two or three couples, or an extended family, who want the overnight option even if they book a day first.
The floating pool and paddleboards are aboard for the anchorages. Where she is less suited: a day party of 15 will feel the boat is built around 8 — the deck space is generous but the layout is residential, not a dance floor. Half-day charters from 175,000 baht, full days from 245,000; overnight rates are published by season.

How do you book and cancel?

- The balance is paid on the day of the charter.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before the charter: 100% refund of the deposit.
- Cancellation 29 days or less before the charter: the deposit is not refunded.

What are the charter hours?
- Charter times are between 09:00 and 19:00.
- Please be on time — the yacht returns at the agreed hour, and a late start shortens the trip rather than extending it.
- Programmes and timing depend on weather and sea conditions. If the weather makes the planned route unworkable, we agree what to do with you individually — there is no single fixed rule, and the options depend on the boat, the date and how far the plan has to change.
- If you ask to change the departure point, the relocation is agreed separately — the boat is berthed where it is berthed, and moving it costs time and fuel.
