About this boat
Eight guests on fifty-five feet is a deliberate choice, and it is what RISA is for. Most boats this size advertise twelve or fifteen; here the licensed number is eight, which means every guest has a seat in the shade, a place at the table and room on the sunpad without anyone negotiating. Built in 2019, she is a Princess flybridge yacht with three cabins and a crew of three, cruising at sixteen knots and reaching thirty-five. A gyro stabiliser holds her steady at anchor — the same equipment fitted to the larger yachts on this pontoon and unusual at this length.
From Boat Lagoon Marina the speed makes the whole regional list workable, from the sheltered bay routes through to Phi Phi as a full day, and the small guest number means the boat is quick to get moving between stops rather than waiting for a crowd. Paddleboards, snorkelling equipment and a tender are aboard. One hundred eighty thousand baht for a day charter. She is the right boat for two couples or a family of six to eight who want a recent, well-finished yacht and are willing to pay for space per person rather than for capacity.
She is the wrong one for a large group, and the rate is hard to justify if only four people are aboard. A word on why the stabiliser matters more on a boat this size than on a larger one: a fifty-five-foot hull rolls more readily at anchor than a seventy-eight-foot hull does, so the equipment is doing more work here. How do you book and cancel?
- A 50% deposit confirms the booking.
- The remaining 50% is paid no later than 3 working days before departure.
- Bookings made less than 14 days before departure are paid in full at the time of booking.
- Card payments carry a 4% surcharge.
- Cancellation prior to 7 days before departure: 75% of the charter value is retained.
- Cancellation prior to 72 hours before departure: 50% of the charter value is retained.
- Cancellation after 48 hours before departure: 100% of the charter value is retained.
- Weather: if conditions make the charter unsafe, the operator offers a replacement vessel, a new date or a refund less the costs incurred.
Payment
- Cash, bank transfer to the company account, or credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay) or USDT.
- Accepted currencies: Thai baht, US dollars and Russian roubles.
What are the charter hours?
- Charter times are between 09:00 and 19:00.
- Please be on time — the yacht returns at the agreed hour, and a late start shortens the trip rather than extending it.
- Programmes and timing depend on weather and sea conditions. If the weather makes the planned route unworkable, we agree what to do with you individually — there is no single fixed rule, and the options depend on the boat, the date and how far the plan has to change.
- If you ask to change the departure point, the relocation is agreed separately — the boat is berthed where it is berthed, and moving it costs time and fuel.
