A speedboat day: twelve guests at twenty-five knots

AQVA 37 is the boat behind the cheapest full day: seven hours from the south to Racha Yai, Maiton or the Khai islands with six in the rate and room for twelve. The same hours to Phi Phi with Maiton or into Phang Nga Bay cost ฿37,900, and the eight-hour run to Hong Island in Krabi ฿39,900. Season and the yachting calendar: when a yacht rental in Phuket costs less

Low season runs May to October and carries the starting rates on every boat's page. High season runs November to April, the yachting season on the Andaman Sea, and each boat adds a separate peak window around New Year, so read its table for yacht charters 2026/27: on Say Yes, Sofia and Beluga 88 the peak is 20 December to 20 January, on the Chalong speedboats and sailing catamarans 15 December to 31 January, on Gin and Whisky only 27 December to 2 January and 13 to 15 April with a surcharge per trip. Prices are per boat, not per guest: the rate covers the group up to the headcount shown on each boat's page. Many boats publish a base rate for a set number of people and a charge for each guest above it, and the charge grows with the boat: ฿800 on Ocean Pearl, ฿1,000 on Kiri, AQVA and Coco, ฿1,500 on Leopard 51 Aurora, ฿2,000 on Say Yes and Sofia, ฿3,000 on Beluga 88 and ฿10,000 on Sea Bear; Whisky 48 prices in bands of ten instead. Route: Phi Phi, Phang Nga Bay, Racha and the Andaman Sea islands near Phuket

Each boat's page lists a rate per route because distance sets the fuel. From Chalong Pier the closest beaches are Coral Island and Maiton; Racha Yai is about 35 minutes by speedboat with the clearest water to snorkel in; the Phi Phi Islands are the long day, ninety minutes out on a fast hull and usually a higher fuel allowance. From Ao Po Grand Marina on the north-east coast the natural day on the water is Phang Nga Bay: limestone cliffs, the lagoon at Koh Hong 18 km away, James Bond Island and the Koh Yao islands, an itinerary that runs all year.
