A Phuket yacht charter quote is easy to check if you read it in five lines: the boat and its hours, the guests in the rate, what the rate covers, what is paid on the day, and the payment and cancellation terms. In 2026/27 the price is for the whole boat with its captain and crew, not per person, and the rate covers the group up to the headcount shown on each yacht's page. Motor yachts start from ฿33,900 per boat for a 5-hour trip on the Ocean Pearl 42ft to Khai Island, with ten guests in the rate. If all five lines are in writing, the figure you see is the figure you pay.

What should a Phuket yacht charter quote state?
A complete quote names the boat, the date, the departure pier, the start and return times, the route and the number of guests in the rate. If one of these is missing, you cannot compare two quotes, because each of them moves the price. Duration is the first thing to read, and a shorter trip is not proportionally cheaper. Half days start from ฿23,900 per boat on the Kiri long-tail from Chalong, four hours in the morning with four guests in the rate. Route is the second, because fuel follows distance: on many yachts a far island and a bay close to the marina carry different rates, and the yacht's page lists both.
Why does the guest count matter so much?
Because the rate covers a set number of guests, and some boats charge for each guest above it. On Say Yes the base price includes 12 guests, the yacht takes up to 30 by day, and each extra guest is charged as listed on its card. Count everyone, including children.
What does the per-boat price already cover?
On every boat we offer, the rate covers the captain and crew, fuel for the agreed route, passenger insurance, drinking water, soft drinks and ice, snorkelling gear, life jackets in adult and child sizes, and towels. Where a yacht's page lists a fuel fee for a route, that fee is already inside the figure in your quote.

Which items change from boat to boat?
Lunch, alcohol, water toys and the hotel transfer depend on the boat. Lunch is usually included on full days and usually not on half days. Beluga 88 includes one vehicle for up to ten guests on every charter, while Say Yes and Sofia include a transfer on full days only. Which costs are paid on the day or added later?
Three kinds of cost sit outside the boat price: national park fees, extras you order, and changes you make on the water. Each should appear in the quote as a separate line, even if the amount is confirmed later.
On most boats the national park fee is paid separately on the day, per person, unless the yacht's page lists it in the rate. The parks set the fees, and the Department of National Parks publishes park rules. Whether you may bring your own alcohol, any corkage fee and any damage deposit depend on the boat, and a manager confirms them before you book.
How are extras priced?
Lunch upgrades, transfers, decor and a DJ are booked through us and paid in advance, and 7 % VAT is added to these extras. Guests above the included headcount, hours beyond the programme and moving a boat to another departure marina are also extras. Agree any of them in writing before the day, not on board.
How do deposits, cancellation and weather work?
On most boats you pay a 50 % deposit at booking and the balance before departure. Boats that cost less than ฿40,000 a day are paid 100 % at booking. On most boats the deposit is refunded if you cancel 30 days or more before the date; each yacht's page and our booking terms give the exact rule.
Peak dates run from 20 December to 20 January, and on Say Yes, Sofia and Beluga 88 bookings for those dates are non-refundable. A deposit can be moved once between Say Yes, Sofia and Beluga 88 free of charge with 30 days' notice. If a storm closes the port, the charter is rescheduled or refunded under the terms page; the captain decides on safety, and the forecast comes from the Thai Meteorological Department.
How do you compare two quotes line by line?
Put both quotes in one table with the same date, hours, route and headcount. The lower headline figure is not always the lower total, because one boat may include lunch and a transfer while the other lists them as extras.

A group of 12 asks for a full day. On Say Yes all 12 are inside the base price, a Thai lunch on full days is included, and the yacht leaves from Chalong with a transfer on full days. On the Ocean Pearl 42ft, with ten guests in the rate, the group is above the base headcount, so the quote must show either a larger boat or an extra-guest charge, plus whether lunch and a transfer come with it.
