The median full day across the 25 motor yachts below the luxury class on the site is ฿95,000, and 18 of the 25 sit between ฿55,000 and ฿129,000. Prices are per boat with captain and crew, not per person, and each rate covers the group up to the headcount shown on the yacht's page. Every figure below is the lowest day rate outside the peak dates, as published on each yacht's page on 30 October 2026.

How much does a full day on a motor yacht cost?

A full day is eight hours on all but two of the 25 boats: nine hours on the Sea Ray Sundancer 46 and an optional ten-hour day to Phang Nga Bay on The Origin 90. The cheapest full day is ฿39,900 on Ocean Pearl 42ft to the Khai Islands from Ao Po, with ten guests in the rate and up to twenty aboard. The dearest is ฿220,000 on SPLO 74 CHOWA from Royal Phuket Marina, with twelve guests in the rate and room for 45 by day. Between them the rates rise roughly with the length and the age of the boat, but not strictly: a 90 ft yacht from Chalong costs ฿95,000 for eight hours with twenty guests in the rate, while a 42 ft Princess from Boat Lagoon costs ฿133,000 with six in the rate.

Eight guests on Azimut 55 After 8: eight hours for ฿99,000

Azimut 55 After 8 leaves Ao Po Grand Marina with eight guests in the rate and up to twelve aboard. Eight hours to the Khai Islands and Naka cost ฿99,000 in the low season, ฿109,000 in the high season and ฿119,000 on the peak dates, 20 December to 20 January, and Phang Nga Bay is priced the same. Maiton with the Khai Islands, or Koh Hong in Krabi, is ฿109,000 in the low season, and Racha with Maiton is ฿129,000. A five-hour half day to Khai Island is ฿79,000 in the low season, ฿89,000 in the high season and ฿105,000 on the peak dates. Lunch, soft drinks, fruit and snorkelling gear are in the rate; the national park fee is paid on the day.

What does a half day cost on a motor yacht?

Twenty of the 25 motor yachts sell a half day of four or five hours. The cheapest half day is ฿33,900 on Ocean Pearl 42ft, five hours to Khai Island or James Bond Island; the dearest half day is ฿160,000 on SPLO 74 CHOWA, four hours to Naka Noi or the Khai Islands. On those twenty boats a half day costs between 68 and 91 per cent of the same boat's full day, and on half of them between 75 and 83 per cent, so the saving against a full day is usually about a fifth. The lowest half-day rates belong to the boats with the lowest day rates: ฿40,000 on Sir William for four hours with four guests in the rate, ฿45,000 on Grand Banks 53 Sambuca for five hours with ten, and ฿45,900 on the Sea Ray Sundancer 46 for five hours to Coral Island with up to ten aboard.

Three boats also sell a sunset cruise of three or four hours: ฿40,000 on Grand Banks 53 Sambuca for three hours in the low season, ฿45,900 on Mami Wata for three hours, and ฿69,900 on Princess V39 ANFIELD for four hours from 15:00 in the low season. Sixteen of the 25 also price a night aboard: two days and one night start at ฿130,000 on Grand Banks 53 Sambuca in the low season and reach ฿419,800 on Galeon 500 Fly.

Why does one 50 ft motor yacht cost twice another?

Four boats in this class are 50 ft long, and their full days are ฿67,000 on Bertram 50 from Chalong, ฿70,000 on Azimut Atlantis 50 from Chalong, ฿83,000 on Mami Wata from Royal Phuket Marina and ฿140,000 on De Antonio D50 from Boat Lagoon. The length is the same; the year and finish of the boat, the route behind the base price and the headcount in the rate are not. Four things move the price on any motor yacht in Phuket.

• Guests in the rate: from four on Sir William to twenty on Siam Princess 70 and The Origin 90. A 70 ft boat with twenty in the rate at ฿69,000 is cheaper per guest than a 46 ft boat with six in the rate at ฿90,000.
• Route: on most boats Phang Nga Bay and the Khai Islands are the base price, and Phi Phi, Krabi or Racha cost more. On Bertram 50 the day to Phi Phi is ฿105,000 against ฿70,000 to Maiton; on Princess 54 Phi Phi, Racha or Krabi are ฿119,000 against ฿105,000 for Phang Nga Bay; on Ocean Pearl 42ft Koh Hong is ฿47,900 against ฿39,900 for the Khai Islands.
• Hours: a four- or five-hour half day, an eight-hour day, a ten-hour day on The Origin 90, or a night aboard.
• Season: the same boat has up to three rates, and the peak dates cost the most.

How much do high season and the peak dates add?

Seasons are set boat by boat. Most pages use a low season from May to October, a high season from November to April and peak dates from 20 December to 20 January; some set the peak at 15 December to 15 January or 21 December to 10 January, and the low season on Sir William runs only from June to September. Of the 18 boats with a separate high-season column, 12 add between 8 and 15 per cent to the low-season full day; Jawsss adds about 6 per cent, Princess 42 about 17, Sir William 20, Princess 54 and Princess V58 Clyde Legacy about a third, and the 58 ft flybridge yacht at Ao Po adds nothing.

Of the 20 boats with a peak rate, the peak dates add between 7 and 55 per cent over the low season: under 10 per cent on Ocean Pearl 42ft and the Sea Ray Sundancer 46, 15 to 33 per cent on 14 boats, and 39 to 55 per cent on Azimut Atlantis 50, Sir William, Princess 54 and Princess V58 Clyde Legacy. Five boats have one rate all year except the peak dates: Ocean Pearl 42ft, the Sea Ray Sundancer 46, Bertram 50, Azimut Atlantis 50 and The Origin 90. Two boats, Galeon 500 Fly and SPLO 74 CHOWA, charge one rate all year round.

Which marina does a motor yacht leave from, and where does it go?

Eleven of the 25 leave from Ao Po Grand Marina on the north-east coast, the closest marina to Phang Nga Bay and the Khai Islands and about half an hour from the airport. Seven leave from Royal Phuket Marina and three from Boat Lagoon, next to each other on the east coast near Phuket Town. Three leave from Chalong Pier in the south, the shortest run to Racha, Coral Island and Phi Phi, and one from Ao Makham on the south-east coast. Guests arrive 15 minutes before departure, and the yacht's page names the pier.

Phang Nga Bay with Hong Island is listed as a route on 24 of the 25 boats, Phi Phi and Bamboo on 20, Racha Yai on 15, Maiton on 14, Koh Yao Yai and Noi on ten and Coral Island on seven. Three boats list the Similan Islands in season, and Sir William prices that day at ฿99,000 in the high season. A full day from Ao Po usually runs to the Khai Islands, Naka and Phang Nga Bay; from Chalong to Racha, Coral Island or Phi Phi; from Royal Phuket Marina and Boat Lagoon to Naka, the Khai Islands and Phang Nga Bay.

What does the rate include, and what is paid separately?

On every motor yacht the rate includes the captain and crew, fuel for the route on the page, water, soft drinks and ice, tea, coffee and fruit, snorkelling masks and fins, and life jackets in adult and child sizes; VAT at 7 per cent is already inside every rate on the site. Lunch is included on full days on most boats and generally not on half days. Whether you may bring your own alcohol, whether there is a corkage fee and whether a damage deposit applies depends on the boat, and the manager confirms all three before booking. On most boats the national park fee is paid separately on the day, per person, unless the yacht's page lists it in the rate. Extras such as a transfer, decor or a DJ are booked through us, paid in advance, and carry 7 per cent VAT on top.

On most boats the deposit is 50 per cent and the balance is due before departure; a few boats, Ocean Pearl 42ft and The Origin 90 among them, take full payment at booking, and most refund the deposit on a cancellation made 30 days or more ahead.
